Spanish Minister of Education pledges to reduce the high rate of academic failure in the Roma community in Spain20/07/2020[editar]

This commitment was made on the occasion of the delivery of the Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO in Spanish) Certificate to sixty-two Roma students who took part in the ‘Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate Classrooms’, an initiative of the Fundación Secretariado Gitano and Fundación Radio ECCA to offer a second chance to those Roma over the age of 18 who left school without earning this school certificate.

The Alliance for Inclusive Education and against School Segregation organized an online conference with experts and politicians under the title "Towards an inclusive school: ending school segregation is possible"08/07/2020[editar]

The alliance for Inclusive Education and against School Segregation (Fundación Secretariado Gitano, CERMI and Save the Children) passed their proposals to the different political groups to end school segregation in Spain and move towards a truly inclusive education.
