The Fundación Secretariado Gitano in Cantabria and the Fundación Real Racing Club have signed a collaboration agreement.
The aim of this cooperation is to boost the empowerment of the Roma community, with special attention to youth, promoting full inclusion and encouraging their education.
The agreement was sealed at the Nando Yosu facilities by César Anievas, on behalf of the Real Racing Club, and Raquel Pla, on behalf of FSG Cantabria.
The action is part of the FSG's Promociona+ educational program aimed at promoting the success of Roma students in Post-compulsory Secondary Education and university studies. The project “Find your way to the world of work” is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment.
Two FSG students will carry out work motivation internships at the Carnival Campus organized by the Real Racing Club to be held in La Albericia from February 20 to 24.
In this way, it will be possible to combine sport and education, promoting social values such as companionship and the desire to improve.
We will also have the opportunity to attend the matches that the Racing Club will play at its facilities in El Sardinero during the 2022/23 season.
