The aim of this study was to provide comparable information on the evolution of the Roma population in relation to accommodation, housing and residential environments since the last study conducted in 2007, as well as to identify the incidence of problems such as substandard housing, slums and other issues of residential exclusion in this population.
In addition, the results and conclusions of the study provide guidance for public, social and urban policies to include specific and comprehensive actions in those areas where slums or substandard housing affecting the Roma population exist.
