EU Roma Week 2018 at the European Parliament
EU Roma Week 2018 at the European Parliament Coinciding with the International Roma Day, the European Parliament, led by its ARDI intergroup, organizes the EU Roma Week. The third edition of the Roma Week will be held from 8 to 12 April at the premises of 018 aims to take advantage of the work done in the two previous editions of this event. One of the key topics will be the historic report that the European Parliament adopted in October 2017 “Fundamental Rights Aspects in Roma Integration in the EU: Fighting Both the evaluation and the proposal of mechanisms for the improvement for the period up to 2020 and post 2020. Nine NGOs will offer the Service of Advice and Assistance to Victims of Racial or Ethnic Discrimination, coordinated by the Fundación Secretariado Gitano. On 1st April the signing of the contract was announced in the Official State Gazette. FSG 20 tasks, the management of all non-face-to-face channels of communication (web page, email, freephone service) and the production of report s, both quarterly and annual, which are required under the contract signed with the Administration. ENAR issues key recommendations to boost labour market inclusion of ethnic minorities June 9th, 2010 1 The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) today launched the report of its Ad Hoc Expert Group on Promoting Equality in Emplo nic minorities in the labour market. It met for the first time on 26-27 November 2009. The Expert Group’s report thus puts forward a series of key recommendations to the EU institutions, member states, the private sector and social partners, b minorities in the workplace. This publication highlights that The European Union Structural Funds guidelines and activities have confirmed the need for multi-level approaches and partnerships in tackling the issues linked to labour market inclusion globa nda.
