What does Fundación Secretariado Gitano for Gender Equality and Roma Women?

Roma women are diverse. Their role in society is active and constantly evolving. In the midst of the quest for true equality, and facing significant challenges, the advancement of women is key to social change. Their progress has a multiplier effect within the Roma community and for society as a whole.

Multiple discrimination, a major barrier

Our main Programmes

Calí

Since 2016 the Calí Programme for the Equality of Roma Women has been working to promote social and labor relations, foster equality, combat gender-based violence, and combat discrimination.
