Empleando Digital project [editar]
An initiative that improves the employability of the most vulnerable people, promoting the use of digital tools and bringing them closer to the world of technology.
Empleando Digital is an innovation project in labour market insertion developed by Fundación Secretariado Gitano and the Spanish Red Cross in collaboration with Fundación Accenture and co-financed by the European Social Fund. The aim of this initiative is to improve the employability of people at risk of social exclusion, so that they are not left out of the job opportunities offered by digitalised work environments.
EmpleandoDigital faces two major challenges: on the one hand, to support the labour insertion of people at risk of social exclusion by tackling the digital gap that affects them and, on the other hand, to improve the digital training of professionals who provide support and guidance by acquiring the necessary skills to better connect job seekers with job opportunities in the digitalised society.
OUTSTANDING RESULTS
From 2020 to 2023, 392 people in situations of social vulnerability have been trained in technological occupations and in emerging occupations resulting from technological advances, 47% of them women, and 157 companies in the technological and digital sector have been involved in order to better understand their talent needs.

Empleando Digital SinergIA
Empleando Digital SinergIA is the new innovation project to be developed during the period 2025-2029. Once again in partnership with the Red Cross, ESF+ co-financing and Accenture Foundation. This project is supported by the SEPE (State Public Employment Service).
Empleando Digital SinergIA aims to maximise the employability of people with greater difficulties in accessing the labour market or in a situation of social exclusion, through their training in AI and in the skills needed to thrive in the new labour market, reinforcing the competences of the professional teams of social and labour insertion and ensuring a responsible and ethical application of AI in the workplace with vulnerable groups.
