IgualTrato Programme [editar]
IgualTrato (Equal Treatment) is a programme through which the FSG aims to actively contribute to the protection and exercise of the rights of the Roma in the face of antigypsyism and all forms of discrimination, including structural discrimination, by removing all obstacles that prevent them from enjoying full citizenship on an equal footing with the general Spanish population.
The main objectives of the Programme
- Promote recognition by the Roma of their rights through training activities and awareness-raising initiatives aimed at potential victims, as well as support in cases of discrimination and antigypsyism.
- Raise awareness among society as a whole in order to update the social image and knowledge of the Roma and their culture in Spain across all strata of society, as well as to inform about the magnitude of the problem of inequality, discrimination and antigypsyism and the human impact on its victims.
- To improve the response of key actors to the inequality of the Roma, discriminatory incidents, anti-Roma hate crimes and structural discrimination.
