Sensitise and empower the Gypsy
population, health care professionals and state run health care / drug dependency
facilities. |

Provide Gypsy drug adicts with easier
access to mainstream health care services. |

Develop training initiatives aimed at
Gypsy mediators as well as field professionals. |

Encourage the development of an
associative network in those areas where it is currently lacking. |

Develop educational material adapted to
the Gypsy population. This material should take the peculiarities of this minority into
consideration, should get the message across and should stress efficient intervention
strategies. |

Trans-national co-operation should be
stressed since the problems and needs of the Gypsy population are similar throughout the
European countries. |
