To promote improvements in the quality of
life and health standards within the Gypsy community through shared initiatives and
strategies. |

To consolidate all the existing knowledge
and information on the subject of drug dependency and HIV/AIDS as pertains to
Europe’s Gypsy population. |

To mobilise all the different social
agents and promote the generation of prevention and intervention initiatives for the Gypsy
population throughout the partner countries. |
|
To develop a pool of shared knowledge
consisting of common interest items on intervention methods and strategies to deal with
the problem of drug addiction within the Gypsy community. |
|
To transfer knowledge, relative
experiences and successful strategies in the intervention/prevention field within the
Gypsy population to other members participating in the initiative and to other networks. |
|
To get interested organisations from
other countries involved with the health aspects of the Gypsy community, especially in the
areas of drug addiction and HIV/AIDS. |
