The Fundación Secretariado Gitano had the pleasure to participate in the workshop organised by the European Commission and the collaboration of the Government of Finland on November 9th.
The Fundación Secretariado Gitano had the pleasure to participate in the workshop organised by the European Commission and the collaboration of the Government of Finland on November 9th.
The workshop, organised in Brussels, aimed to discuss and share the latest updates regarding the development of national plans against Racism and what specific measures have been carried out in the last 2 years since the approval of the EU Anti-racism Action Plan, focusing specifically on measures against Institutional Racism.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the European Commission (DG Justice), MEPs from different political groups, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), ECRI and representatives of national administrations and entities of the Consultation Forum of Civil Society Organisations for the implementation of the EU Anti-racism Action Plan (DG Justice).
The commitment of all those present was to continue working and sharing positive experiences in order to identify effective responses to combat structural racism at all levels. Structural problems require a structural solution.
