The meeting brought together at the Madrid headquarters of the Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG) the 8 participants of the state Tandem Programme aimed at Community Health Promotion and Gender Equality.
On the 7th, 8th and 9th of May, the 4th of the eight face-to-face meetings of the Tandem Programme for Community Health Promotion and Gender Equality of the Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG) took place.
TándEM is a training programme in alternation with employment aimed at Roma under 30 years of age. It is a programme of the State Public Employment Service (financed by Next Generation funds), the aim of which is to provide professional training and facilitate the integration into the labour market of young unemployed people.
In this meeting, the eight participants have continued to advance in their training, sharing their work with professionals who have provided them with tools and methodologies of intervention adapted to their needs: from techniques of dynamisation through art or community theatre, to recycling. They have also learned about the work carried out in specific services such as the Equality Spaces of the Madrid City Council and visited the exhibition "Ellas Ilustran Botanica" at the Royal Botanical Garden.
