The "Dikando Sastipen" Observatory is launched with the aim of being a system for collecting annual information on the state of health and other relevant aspects of Roma youth.Given the current context of socio-health crisis, it is essential to ask young Roma about important aspects of their lives and their state of health, to ensure that their voices and participation are present in the processes of knowledge generation and advocacy policy to improve the situation of the Roma population.
In this regard, the FSG is launching the "Dikando Sastipén" Health Observatory, with the aim of helping to guide our interventions and becoming a key tool for generating knowledge about Roma youth and their health and to support the demands directed to public administrations.
The information will initially be collected through an online survey (available only in Spanish) aimed to all young Roma people, aged 12 to 18, who wish to complete it.
We hope to get a wide sample of responses, which will contribute to greater confidence in the Observatory's data.
The treatment of the data will be done in an aggregated and confidential way, people will not be identified, and only collective data will be presented.
