The 14th EURoma Network meeting is held in Italia during the 5th and 6th of June.

Roma hosts during the 5th and 6th of June the 14th  meeting of the European Network on Social Inclusion and Roma under the Structural Funds  which technical secretariat is held by the Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG).

Roma hosts during the 5th and 6th of June the 14th  meeting of the European Network on Social Inclusion and Roma under the Structural Funds  which technical secretariat is held by the Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG).

The meeting brings together participants from 11 European Member States (Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Slovak Republic, Spain, Rumania, Poland and Sweden). Members of the European Commission, ETF and the network technical secretariat will also participate.

The agenda will be focused on key elements regarding the next Structural and Investment Funds programming period: recent progress at European level, Partnership Agreements at national level and the inclusion of Roma needs in the coming Operational Programmes. EURoma+ report results will be presented as well as the Guide for local authorities and regions on the use of Structural Funds for the social integration of Roma

 This would be a good opportunity to assess the work done by EURoma during the current programming period and to think about the future of the network. Finally, there will be a session related on how the Italian Government approached the needs of Roma population, their successful policies and programmes and how EIF support these initiatives.

EURoma is a European Network made up of representatives of twelve Member States led by the Spanish Government through the Managing Authority of the European Social Fund (ESF) and the FSG acts as Technical Secretariat. EURoma is a European Network made up of representatives of twelve Member States, determined to promote the use of Structural Funds to enhance the effectiveness of policies targeting Roma people and to promote their social inclusion.
