FSG
The FSG welcomes the 7th, 8th and 9th of June a visit organised by the World Bank. The aim of the visit is to get a deep understanding of the main programmes of the FSG: Acceder, focused in achieving the effective incorporation of the Roma population in employment, and Promociona, an educational support and guidance programme for Roma youth and their families. Both programmes are widely recognized as good practices for the inclusion of Roma population.
In this study visit over 40 people from 7 country delegations (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia) will participate, representing Employment and Education Ministries. They will participate as well ten World Bank experts, and six international experts. The main aim of the visit is the promotion of policies and activation measures for the inclusion of Roma population.
During the first day, education and employment programmes will be presented from a more theorethical point of view, to present afterwards the practical experiences of the programmes (a visit to an Acceder office or to a Promociona classroom to talk with the teams and users is also planned)
The rest of the time there will be workshops in FSG headquarters where they will be divided into team groups to analize the experiences presented, and discuss how can they apply and adapt all the lessons learnt and which elements can they transfer to their own countries.
