In the past years, the progressive introduction of quality management systems in the non-profit sector has been increasingly relevant. The basic aim of this advancement is none other than the improved satisfaction of the needs and expectations of users and clients, for which social organisations must initiate a process of reflection and organisational improvement.

Quality Promotion Programme in Social Action NGOs
From this perspective, the quality management system promotes an improvement in the organisational structure of entities, making them more efficient, effective and transparent. It also helps to reflect on the importance of achieving this progress upon an ethical basis and always towards realising our mission.
Furthermore, the ethical, transparent and effective management of NGOs is a response to an ever more forceful social demand. In this sense, the FSG, just as other social organisations, has made quality a relevant aspect of its management, which allows it to introduce processes that help improve its organisation.
The new Strategic Plan 2009-2013 of the FSG emphasises its commitment towards quality by indicating the principal fields of activity for quality management over that period, as well as our commitment towards the persons that we are serving.
Despite its relatively recent history, Quality Management is a clear commitment of our Entity, as demonstrated by the work that is being accomplished:
